How to Make Chocolate Chip Muffins

Chocolate muffin is a go-to thing for not just only kids but also adults. No matter how much we age, our love for chocolate muffins remains constant. The sweet chocolate taste blending in our mouth together with the tenderness and softness of the muffin cake is totally worth drooling but the problem is, should we rush to the bakery every time we crave this heaven? Absolutely not! You can totally prepare them at home. I and my husband absolutely love them. Even the learnt how to make them because he knows how much I am fond of them. I would make them for him to make up for anything and he would suddenly forgive and wouldn’t be able to hold back any anger he knows that I would prefer chocolate Muffin Boxes over flowers any day any time so this recipe is our go-to thing to rekindle the spark in our relationship.  If you are a mom, this recipe is perfect for you as you can have a delicious snack ready on your table for your children in no time. You will be surprised how much your kids will love them as your evening supper. As you will have plenty of serving, you may store some for the future in cute little muffin boxes.

PREP TIME: 30-35 Mins (super quick and fun).        SERVING: 1 to 12 muffins

EQUIPMENT YOU NEED: For this recipe, you don’t need to have some fancy equipment. A bowl or two and a spoon are the only things you need.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Two cups of self-raising plain
  1. ½ cup sugar

3.1 Tbsp baking powder

  1. ½ tsp salt
  1. One large egg (lightly beaten)

6.¾ cup milk

7.1/3 vegetable oil/ melted butter

  1. ¾ cup chocolate chips (plain or milk)
  2. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  3. ½ cup of chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

1 First of all, you need to preheat your oven to 200c/400f gas mark.

2 Get your muffin tray in line

3 Take a large bowl; add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix them. Stir in the sugar.

4 Get a separate bowl and whisk in eggs, milk, and butter combined with vanilla extract.

5 Add the above batter to the first bowl containing the dry ingredients and mix briefly.

6 Mix till your mixture is lumpy, then fold in chocolate chips and a reminder not to over-mix the batter and keep it lumpy.

7 Spoon your batter into the muffin cases three-fourth full and bake for 18 to 20 minutes or when golden, risen and firm to touch.

8 Cool for 6 to 10 minutes and then remove them to a wire rack to cool them completely.

9  present warm or cool as you wish

10 You can also freeze the muffins in the muffin boxes

You can also get creative boxes to store them and decorate. Send them to your neighbours and friends and notice the joy that will appear on their faces. You can also arrange a bake sale at your home and I am telling you this item will be a big hit. You can also add optional ingredients to enhance flavour and look because cooking is an art there is never a fixed way to it.
